It’s almost my birthday. In two days I am 10. On Friday mom is bringing donuts. She is going to get up at 7:00 and get some for the class. But today I had to go to school. The first hing we did was have a math test it was really easy. I finished it really fast so i had a lot of time to check it over. After I was done checking it over I had to work on my Olympia recount. I didn’t do it very long when we had to go to music. We had a sub and all we did was watch a movie about string things like a violin. After that we played a game and went back to do doing the recount and test. I didn’t do it very long when I had to go to the dentist. I missed science though. After the dentist told us we had clean teeth we went and had pizza. After that i got back just in time for 10 min. of recess. when we got in we had to do the recount for an hour ( as you can see Mrs. Jensen wants us to finish ) The went out side again. After that recess we had to 15 min. more of the recount then we could finally read till 3:10. After school Sam went to art and I played capture the flag with Joey and Mason. After a half our of my just getting our flag back I had to go to art. I finished an Indian mask I was making and when i got home i drew some trees. Then we had to go to cub scouts. It was the Webelo 2 going to boy scouts. After that we came home did my homework read a bit and went to bed.
Nick….are you trying to make your Mom cry? You can’t be turning 10 on Saturday…. it is not possible because you are only 5 right? Every time I look at you I can hardly wait to see what will happen next (but not too quickly OK)- you are a gift to all of us sweet Nick and I love you very much.

I can’t believe it, Nick’s going to be 10!! Well Granny and Gramps get to start celebrating your big day early, because tomorrow is the 20th in Thailand!! It’s okay, we’ll just celebrate for two days. Mom has your present from us so just in case she forgets, you can reminder her. Are you having a party? The class will surely enjoy the donuts Mom is going to bring.
Sure glad to hear that you had a great dentist appointment. I’m sure that’s because you are so good at brushing your teeth regularly – it’s so important and makes Mom, Dad and the dentist happy.
I hope we get to see the Indian mask you made at art class when we come next.

Nick how can you be 10 years old???? You were just born yesterday…I can still remember hearing you cry for the first time. Granny and I started crying too!!! We were all so excited and look how you have grown up to be such a fantastic 10 year old!! So smart, kind, funny, lovable, talented….just perfect in every way!!!! We LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!
