monday

today was school so we did an Indian art like an eagle or a killer whale. Aiden , Teo , and Drew were at Smith Rock so I played with Bret. We didn’t really do anything we just played with a ruler. After we played it was an Veteran Day assembly. Some of my friend have there dads and there grandparents. We sang songs like The Star Spangled Baner and This Land Is Your Land. The Vetrerans  told us something that they did. After the assembly we went outside. We made a leaf pile  and jumped in it. After school I have climbing. I am on the jr. climbing team. We started with doing a lap around the gym. When we finished the couch told us to do two rope climbs that are the hardest we can do. I am about 5.9+ to 5.10-. then I did add on with a person on my team. Then we had to do abs 🙁 it was very boring all we did was move our legs around and do plank. Then mom came and picked me up I got home about 7:00 Then I just played in the playroom and played on the computer

  1. The Indian art project sounds cool…how did you do the eagle or killer whale. Was it chalk drawing?
Our Veterans day is November 11. Grandpa and I always go to our community hall where they have a parade and Uncle Bert plays the bagpipes in the band. We always have a minute of silence to remember the soldiers who fight for our freedom. I always say a prayer for them and their families.
When you are at climbing what does 5.9-5.10 mean. Boy you are going to be the toughest guy all that ab work. When you are on the junior team does your team compete with other clubs? Or is that a age group?
Did you get a new song last Friday I would love to have a cd of your music.
I wish I was there I would have jumped in the leaf pile with you!!! Sassy found a leaf pile today and jumped in and buried herself, it was so funny to watch. haha good night for now Luv ya gk

    1. our veterans Day is the 11 to but we don’t have school on Wed. 5.9 and 5.10 are how hard they are 5.9 and 5.10 are about an average for my age groups. the JP. ( jr. team) is for people that want to do climbing but don’t want to go three days like on team ( the climbers that are higher) the Indian art is we take a pattern and draw it then outline it then color it ( only some colors)

We are really enjoying your blog and read them all (even if we don’t comment on all of them). It is very interesting to hear what is going on with your day. You are always so busy. It sounds like you are doing a lot of things at the cabin. Your dad will be very glad that you have been there to help. The climbing club sounds really interesting, do you have a climbing wall as well? Take care, we love you and love your blog.

  3. Your Indian art sounds interesting…the chalk drawing you gave Uncle Jamie looks great in his house he has it framed and in his living room…you are very talented!!
Do they rate you by how high you go and of course the difficulty of the climb. Is there such a thing a -number that would be me 2 feet up and I would start to panic…hahaha
Grandpa’s cousins are visiting us, I think we will go to H2O today..Sassy will have to stay home. Well better go for now thank you for replying so quickly……..Luv u to the moon and back and back againXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ps tell Sam to check his blog…Hugs and kisses to all gk

  4. Hi Nick…Sounds like your coach wants you to be as strong as you can. That is what all that conditioning is for! Maybe you and Rachael can talk about intense conditioning sometime : )

Thanks for putting a link to my blog on your blog. I put a link to your blog on my blog too and I told my family about your blog so they can read it too.
Have a GREAT 2 days off from school. It is kind of weird eh? Right in the middle of the week!!!

  5. HI Nick,
I love reading your blog!!! Now I know what you’re doing these days. Sounds as though you’re keeping very, very busy. I can’t wait to see your slide at the cabin and all the work you’ve been helping Dad do. The sugar shack will be looking pretty cool I bet.
I hope I will be able to see you do some climbing when I’m at your house next time. Sounds like you’re doing very good at it.
Enjoy your days off from school!!
    Buckets of love,
    Granny
