These last two days have been AWESOME! ( most of you know that ). So on saturday my parents said they had a surprise. So we packed our back packs and we got in the car. They told so many places but they were all wrong. So when we finelly get to the airport ( We still had know idea what we where going ) they took us past the x-ray thing and then we got on the airplane. I got to sit in the very front. Sam and Joey played I-touch and my DS I mostly read my book. When we landed joey said “Look we are in Hawaii there are Hawaii trees” ( palm trees ) and I said we were in California but he said no. So after a little bit we got in our car that we rented. We kept asking over and over what are we doing here? They won’t tell they said that we would have to wait till we got there. We drove past Disney Land then I knew we were going to Disney Land! When we got to the hotel we got our first room on the first floor. then at about 10:30 we got woken up and mom said there was bed bugs! So they move us to our second room on the second floor and I went to sleep but in the morning mom said we had to move to our third room and we went back to he first floor and we got our last two rooms. One was locked so we had one room but that didn’t matter because we were going to Hollywood! We went to the Universal Studios. There where a few rides. The best ride was the Simpsons because it was like you were in the movie but it was just a round big TV. the second best ride was the Jurassic Park one. You are in a raft and it was like the movie. You go in a gate you start with the dinosaur that eat grass and trees then you go to the one that eat meat. We went to a game part of the park and I bought a Patrick. Then we came home and we tried to get in the other door it was locked so we knoked and our grandparents came out!

How awesome is that???? Get up Saturday morning at home and go to bed that night in California!!! I can just hear Joey thinking he was in Hawaii and you trying to convince him is was California. What a first night….bed bugs and the move..I can hear your mom from here haha
Universal Studios sounds soooo cool!!! We were there when your mom was in grade 10…things have changed since then…I think my best ride was Jaws..I don’t know if it is still there. I think your moms favorite ride was the roller coaster…Uncle Jamie was your age the time we where there. The Simpsons sounds funny, Jurassic Park …I don’t know about the meat eaters coming at me I would scream for sure!!
How exciting to knock on the locked door and to your surprise there was Granny and Grandpa…life is great!! Enjoy!!! LUv you to the moon and back and back again!!! gk
the jaws was the tour right? if it was a ride then it wasn’t there.
Jaws was a ride when we where there…but that was 25 years ago….he probably retired by now haha…luv you honey!!!

You are the luckiest kid EVER. I want to go to Disneyland so bad. The last time I went it was raining really hard, there were ducks swimming down Main Street and we could go on the rides twice without even having to get OFF! It was awesome.
I remember the Jaws ride too – it was super scary.
How good does it get, climbing on a plane and getting off at Disneyland? Well I’ll tell you, it is great opening a door and seeing your grandkids having a wonderful time. It just makes a super time for us. Luv U all.
