sunday

Today I was still in bed at 9:30. When i got up I went into mom and dads room and watched some TV. We did that for a bit then I went to watch it in the other room. I wanted to watch spongebob. But Sam was on the computer though. So I got him of and watched some Nick. The gold medal hockey game was on at 12:00 so I went and watched Canada win. I didn’t know. I though I did because in the 3rd period it was 2-1 and there was 24.4 seconds left and USA scored. It went into over time. At 7 min. Sidney Crosby scored. It was a pretty good goal but it mostly just got in there. After the game Mom, Sam, Aiden, and me went for a bike ride. We went really far. It took us 45 min. to get there and back to Aidens to play. When I got there the first thing I did was get something to drink. After that we went and played Mario Cart. I’m really bad at it so the best I got was 5th. The we played Ratchet. I was going to beat a level but I needed something I didn’t have so I had to do the next level. I didn’t finish though. After I went to Aidens we had fish. I ate most of mine. Then I went and watch the ending in the Olympics and went to bed.

  1. Nick I am sooo Happy you were our Canadian fan during the Olympic Games. I was looking for you on tv when the tv camera scanned the crowds. I almost drove down to surprise you…but it had heavy snow fall on the connecter and dense fog the day I was going to leave. Boo whoo…I was very disappointed!!! I could just see your faces when I showed up!!! Grandpa would have to stay at home to look after Great Grandma so I would have to drive by myself. But we will see you in a month or so…to me it seems like forever!!!
It sounds like you had a great time in Vancouver…what event did you like the best? I think the new ski cross was awesome!!! Keep up those jumps and you will be the on the podium receiving your gold medal!!
I love hearing about the books you are reading!! Books take you to another land another time!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank You sooo much for the blog….love you more then words can say!!!! Sending you hugs and kisses to you and all the family!!!!!!!!!!
    Miss you honeyXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  2. Hi Nick!! It’s been a long time since I was able to read your blog. We haven’t had very good internet at this hotel in Thailand – they have been working on it so it still comes and goes. We’ve been in Thailand for a week now and will stay here until we come back to Canada. We will be moving to a different part of Thailand on the 10th of March – your Dad’s birthday. Great to be back here to enjoy the wonderful food they make here and seeing the friendly smiles on all the local people. The weather is still very hot here, but we’re getting more used to it now.
You’ve been pretty busy since I last read your blog. Sounds like you really enjoyed the Olympics, what a great experience for you!! We saw a lot of it over here but of course it was delayed. It was still great to watch and Canada did so well. We are very proud of our Canadian athletes. Gran and Gramps did get up at 3:15 a.m. to watch the Canada vs U.S. hockey game. A restaurant near our hotel was picking it up live and invited us to come along. Most of the people there were cheering for Canada. I’m sure glad they won it after getting up so early!!
Sounds like your lacrosse has started up and you’re enjoying it. Good for you, it’s a fun game and good exercise. Still doing lots of reading and skiing too. You and Dad must have had a great time up at Stevens. Doing all those jumps sounds pretty hard and scary to me. I guess the ski season will soon be over so you gotta get out there and get it in while you still can.
I didn’t know you were doing early bird math – awesome!! Guess that’s what’s helping you to get 100% on those tests. How many mornings a week do you go?
Keep up the blogging, I like hearing what you’re up to. Love you and miss you and your family a whole bunch. Hugs and kisses to all.
    Love Gran
